A restored historic house in the village of Pueblo Garzón, Uruguay.
Purchased in 2019 after years of neglect, the house was thoughtfully restored in collaboration with architect Paula Moreira Siedlecki, preserving the character of the original structure. The interiors bring together vintage furniture, art, textiles and objects sourced in Uruguay and collected through years of travel.

GARZÓN
Pueblo Garzón is a former railway town in the hills of eastern Uruguay. Once home to more than 2,000 people, the closing of its mill and railway left the village nearly abandoned. Today, fewer than 200 people live here.
What followed is an unlikely second chapter. Artists, chefs, winemakers and people from around the world began finding their way to Garzón, drawn to a place that had largely escaped development. Historic houses surround the old plaza; horses still pass through town; contemporary art sits comfortably alongside rural life.
Today, Garzón is home to artists, galleries and creative projects, including Francis Mallmann’s Hotel and Restaurant Garzón. Beyond the pueblo, vineyards and olive groves stretch across the landscape, including the renowned Bodega Garzón, with the Atlantic coast beyond.
It remains very small. That is precisely its appeal.
